Social Media

English Out There courses provide deep learning anywhere that involves social interaction.

Our English courses are the first social media English courses ever published because they involve focused real practice with the target language from the lesson and can be used in any teaching and learning scenario, on or offline. You can use them in real world conventional classrooms or with any of these free online media services:

Free web telephony (e.g. Skype, GoogleTalk, MSN, Yahoo, etc.)
Voice enabled social media platforms (e.g. Facebook with Vivox Voice app installed)
Social language learning platforms for online language exchange (e.g. Italki.com, Livemocha.com, The Mixxer etc.)
Social media platforms for real world course organisation (Meetup.com)
Virtual classrooms and online collaboration spaces (e.g. Wiziq.com, Scribblar.com, Mingleverse.com etc.)
Virtual worlds (e.g. Second Life)

English Out There courses work anywhere and everywhere because of the way they were designed and evolved, they even work with a plain old telephone!

Now you can curate other social content like Youtube videos around our content. Look at an example of how to do it with an English Out There lesson on a free content curation website.

Watch this video (below) of learners being guided through an EOT lesson inside the virtual classroom called Wiziq.com.

After the Input session the learners used free voice enabled social media like Facebook and Skype or face to face speaking practice to do their Out There tasks, and complete their social learning experience.
