If you like our video, which is the second piece of our artwork called Nineteen Years In The Making, and it has made you think and want to know more there are a couple of articles on our website. The original one being The OUPELT and EOT Story which will give you more of the background to why in the end we felt motivated to create the artwork.
If you have become intrigued to the point of really wanting to know more then we are making the authorised transcripts of the court hearings (where we represented ourselves against probably the best lawyers money can buy in the UK) available to download for FREE with some of our learning materials. This is intended to help us to try to pay OUP's legal costs, which if we succeed, will also help us to survive as a company beyond the nineteen years we have existed so far.
You can choose how much to spend according to how much you can afford/or want to contribute. Approved court transcripts like these are in the public domain. UK courts are public places and if there are no reporting restrictions on a case (e.g. such as if it involves children) then the transcript is a public record and can be published under a free Open Government Licence. See below.
During the legal process we suggested that we might crowdfund our legal fees and the advance payment into court that OUP's lawyers tried to demand to cover their costs because they said we were poor and had no money. So, now that they have a court order we don't see why they wouldn't support us in trying to raise the money to pay them and keep our tiny company going.
