How many levels do you have?

We have 6 levels - Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced.

Do I need to buy any books?

If you intend to self-study you need to buy an SS ebook course. If you intend to be taught your teacher needs to buy an OO or TD ebook course.

What else do I need?

If you are studying in a non-English speaking country you will need a computer with an internet connection or be able to go to an internet café. This is for the online real practice.

Are the classes serious?

Our classes are deadly serious (but fun). You should concentrate, listen, follow the instructions in each lesson or those given to you by your teacher and try to do the speaking practice as soon as possible.

When can I start my course?

Any time you or your teacher want to. Our courses can be taken and used anywhere at any time.

Where can I do it?

Online, offline, in a classroom, in a virtual classroom, on the beach (print off the lesson plan and use a pencil and then use Skype to call some practice partners), even in Second Life. Our courses are totally flexible because they teach you some language and get you using it, so they focus your social learning conversations.

How will it help me?

It will improve your confidence and fluency fast. Help you to get over shyness and you will remember language for longer and be able to use it again in the future.

Do you teach examination courses?

We do not, however levels 5 and 6 include lots of topics that are regularly included in IELTS and TOEFL oral exams. Use our courses to get real focused practice for those tests.

What sort of people study English Out There ®?

All sorts and all ages. Not just students. People who want improve their speaking and listening skills fast and do it socially and naturally.

What does it cost?

One self-study ebook course costs £5. That's just 8 pence per hour. Teachers' books cost £25, a full set, 120 lessons over six levels costs £125 and can be printed and copied or taught online in virtual classrooms like this .
